The Early Years Centres (EYC) is designed to connect parents, caregivers and service providers in Maple Ridge with free programs, free services, free tools and free resources to support families of young children from birth to school age. The east Maple Ridge locations provide information on parenting, early childhood resources, referrals, developmental screening and provides space for a variety of programming and services. The EYC located at Webster's Corners Elementary runs programs Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm in room 1131 and programs for the EYC located in StrongStart at Garibaldi Secondary will be inclusive during StrongStart operating hours Monday to Friday mornings. Most days the Early Years Centre Coordinator or a service provider will be on site to answer your questions or provide a service or program - please check the calendar below for operational programming days (online and print) and coordinator hours (online only).

 

Services providers include the Ridge Meadows Child Development Centre, Ridge Meadows Association for Community Living, Family Education & Support Centre, Maple Ridge Library, Fraser Health, Westcoast Family Centres, Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Community Services (including Child Care Resource & Referral)  and School District 42 – Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows.

Hard copies of calendars are posted on the door of the Webster's Corners EYC and inside StrongStart at Garibaldi Secondary. Please note that access to Webster’s Corners EYC is through the front doors of the school and to the right of the library and access to the Garibaldi  EYC is outside, at the front of the school, through the StrongStart door.
